[jira] Commented: (HBASE-1033) get and getRow with latest timestamp don't find requested rows

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-1033?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12651477#action_12651477 ]

Jim Kellerman commented on HBASE-1033:
--------------------------------------

In the example above, a get for the row for column page:url at latest timestamp returns nothing.

getRow with no columns specified and for latest timestamp return columns: {
  alternate_title:Another title ,
  alternate_url:http://foo.com/target,
  anchor:all_inlinks ,
  anchor:anchor_text ,
  anchor:bydomain_inlinks
}

but does not return page:url or page:content

get for the row for column page:url specifying all versions returns all three versions of page:url

> If there is a row with more timestamps than versions (which can happen if only some cells are newer than others in other columns), get and getRow fail to find columns with older timestamps.
