[jira] Created: (MNG-445) Lineendings in m2 shell scripts are wrong
Lineendings in m2 shell scripts are wrong
-----------------------------------------
Key: MNG-445
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-445
Project: Maven 2
Type: Bug
Components: maven-core
Versions: 2.0-alpha-2
Environment: Mac OSX 10.3
Reporter: Gunnar Ahlberg
Attachments: m2
When running the m2 shell script, an error is printed about not able to run /bin/bash
This was a problem with the lineendings, running the script through a ASCII ftp transfer fixed the problem (didn't have dos2unix around)
The attached script works on Mac OSX

[jira] Closed: (MNG-445) Lineendings in m2 shell scripts are wrong

Brett Porter closed MNG-445:
----------------------------
Resolution: Duplicate
the line endings are crlf in .zip and lf in .tar.*. There is an open bug to do this per file.
If checking out from subversion, you always get system native line endings.
