[Issue 125960] New: picture ratio no held

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125960

          Issue ID: 125960
        Issue Type: DEFECT
           Summary: picture ratio no held
           Product: Impress
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: Mac
                OS: Mac OSX, 10.9
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: formatting
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: tlhazlett@cox.net

After inserting a jpg or tiff image into the presentation application, I cannot
maintain the picture ratio ratio. Selecting and unselecting the "keep ratio"
flag does not have any effect. I've tried setting the flag, saving the
presentation and then reloading but still doesn't work. Have Open Office on two
different Macintosh computers - same problem on both installations

--- Comment #1 from Regina Henschel <rb...@t-online.de> ---
That is a misunderstanding of that check box. "Keep ratio" is not a property of
the object, but a property of the dialog. It binds the input of height and
width together, so that the ratio is kept.

When you use the mouse you get the same effect, when you press shift key while
resizing.

There exist no property of objects, that would lock the height/width ratio.
