Help w/ understanding scoring inconsistencies (long)
Hello fellow sa-users,
I am trying tryng to understand why I am getting different scoresets based on how the message is routed into spamassassin. My suspicions are that it is an issue with how spamc/spamd/spamassassin is called, or a chickenpox.cf issue, but i'm not really sure.
Any thoughts, hints, pointers appreciated.
spamassassin --lint results in no errors
spamassassin -D --lint does not appear to generate any errors, and all rulesets are in the same direcory.
server setup: plesk7.x/Qmail 1.03/sa3.02
I receive stock emails that score via email as 2.4 and via command line as 26.3 I added chickenpox.cf to as most of my FN's are stock related, but it doesn't appear to be working correctly. Individual result sessionas are:

Serious lack of caffeine on my end. Forgot to restart. Thanks.

Thanks for the info.

For comparison, what are the list of hits when received via email?
Also, did you restart spamd after installing chickenpox.cf? If you use
spamd/spamc, then spamd only loads the base config files once and only
reads user_prefs on a per-message basis when spamc feeds them.
The spamassassin command line on the other hand reads everything from
scratch each time it's called.

Obvious question: did you restart spamd after you changed the rules?
