[jira] [Commented] (CB-2527) Update iPad splash images to correct sizes

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-2527?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13584620#comment-13584620 ]

Marcel Kinard commented on CB-2527:
-----------------------------------

I would recommend that the images that are 20px too tall should be fixed. If these are used as a reference sample, nice to have the reference be correct. The master splashscreens are PSDs at http://cordova.apache.org/artwork.html and https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/cordova/site/public/downloads ? Any volunteers with Photoshop skills?

> Components: iOS
> Affects Versions: Master, 2.2.0, 2.3.0, 2.4.0, 2.5.0
> Environment: iPad

> Priority: Minor

> Original Estimate: 2h
> Remaining Estimate: 2h

> The stock Default-Portrait~ipad.png and Default-Landscape~ipad.png images are both 20 pixels too tall. This causes the image to shift down when the app launches.
> The correct image sizes are 1024x748 for landscape and 768x1004 for portrait. Ref:
> I tested images with the correct sizes and the "shift down" does not occur. Can we update the master images? I am not sure of the process.
