Re: confirm subscribe to users@openoffice.apache.org, users-sc.1366635716.lfamgbdmkaaljgofdhjg-moborisn=gmail.com@openoffice.apache.org

Posted by "Girvin R. Herr" <gi...@sbcglobal.net>.
Nicholas,
I am not a forum person, but it looks to me like you "confirmed" to the
user's group itself and not the address supplied in the automated
confirmation message. As the original automated message says:

    .... please send
    > >> a short reply to this address:
    > >>
    > >>
    > >> users-sc.1366635716.lfamgbdmkaaljgofdhjg-moborisn=gmail.com@openoffice.apache.org

>> > >>
>> > >> Usually, this happens when you just hit the "reply" button.
>> > >> If this does not work, simply copy the address and paste it into
>> > >> the "To:" field of a new message.
>> > >>

Try using the "users-sc..." address above in your "To:" field. I don't
think you need any message, just the proper address. Until you do this,
you will not be registered and not get sent any of the postings to the
group.
Hope this helps.
