sa-learn dosen't learn

sarge/perl5.8/i386/spamassassin 3.0.4

Hi list,

I'm training my bayesian base after a disk crash.

sudo /usr/bin/sa-learn --mbox /var/mail/spams --no-sync --spam
sudo /usr/bin/sa-learn --mbox /var/mail/spams --no-sync --ham
sudo /usr/bin/sa-learn --sync

and
sudo /usr/bin/sa-learn --dump magic
gives

0.000          0          3          0  non-token data: bayes db version
0.000          0          6          0  non-token data: nspam
0.000          0        904          0  non-token data: nham
0.000          0      74555          0  non-token data: ntokens

what a deception after learning about 1000 hams and 400 spams, why did 
it only learn 6 spams?
