[jira] Created: (INFRA-2031) Requesting Blog for the Lenya project

Requesting Blog for the Lenya project
-------------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-2031
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2031
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Wish
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Blogs
            Reporter: Andreas Hartmann
            Priority: Minor

The Lenya PMC would like to request a blog for the project.

Initial accounts:

Andreas Hartmann - andreas@apache.org
Richard Frovarp - rfrovarp@apache.org

I hope it will be possible to add further accounts if more people apply.

Are we allowed to syndicate the blog on our website? If yes, should we rather use server-side includes (if this is supported by your web server), or client-side includes, e.g. via XMLHttpRequest?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best regards,
Andreas

<gmcdonald> regarding syndication, can't you just pull the atom feed?

Thanks a lot!

Sure - we just wanted to check if there are any technical or other objections from your PoV against including the feed on project websites.
