[Bug 5139] New: Testing asks for missing file

http://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=5139

Summary: Testing asks for missing file
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.1.7
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: spamassassin
        AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
        ReportedBy: padelj@earthlink.net

When attempting to run 'nmake test' or run the spamassassin tests I get
a 'Could not find MSVCR80.dll' error. I do have .Net 2.0 installed and the
file is in it's correct location. I have built the app without the C option.
Any info?

this sounds like a windows/perl thing. there's nothing in SA that looks for a DLL.

I believe that this may also have something to do with Visual C++ Express 2005
being installed onto the PC where the source is compiled. This was installed
to attempt to compile the Razor mod.

I have also noticed an ERRNO message in the command line after you ok the
first error. Not sure if it is related to the ERRNO section remarked in the
windows install about the IMAPClient. Even though I do not use it. But I am
using ActivePerl 5.8.8.819
