[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-872) When clustered, Site-to-Site should advertise the nodes' hostnames as they are configured in the nodes' properties files

Michael Moser commented on NIFI-872:
------------------------------------

It appears that this improvement may have snuck into the code as part of State Management NIFI-259. Can anyone else comfirm?

> NIFI-868 adds a new property to configure the hostname that is advertised by site-to-site, rather than relying on java's getLocalHost() to determine it. This is very useful for many environments.
> If a node is part of a cluster, though, it should tell the advertised hostname to the NCM so that the NCM can provide that information back to clients, rather than advertising the hostname that it uses when communicating via the clustering protocol.
