Request: An AOOo banner

Did we have something like this for OOo? Can they be adapted for
Apache OpenOffice? Add the word "Apache" and a feather, maybe?

Ideally we'd have a set of banners, in standard sizes, that we can use
on our personal blogs, etc. to show support, with links back to the
project home page.

There was a huge change in policy regarding to the logo primarily beccause
of trademark pactices and a whole set of policies to determine the logo were
implemented by the visual aid team. There a whole set of things about that
in the wiki.

Actually it was the branding initiative mostly pushed by Bernard
Dibppol. He was the lead for the art project which was not really an
independent project but dependent of marketing.

I have to use top posting.  My apologies to anyone who has a problem with that.

My recollection is that OOo had a collection of logos.  There is an OOo page referring to a logo.[1]

My understanding is that the word 'Apache' is required by ASF.  Because people are familiar with (the) OOo logo(s), it makes sense to use it / them with the Apache feather.

Not sure if I am in wrong place for this, but I am in a big goldanged hurry,
so here goes:
(I will have another look at the official link later.)(

Think of "Apache" as the genus, and the second word as the "species."
The "species" represents the torus (field), or perhaps the providere
(territory.)
I hesitate to pin this Ooo body of work to a single culture.
The second name needs to be unburdened by search results of similar
etymology.
If "Apache" and its second word is something like: kunh (fire), or
Gian-nah-ta (always ready) if morphed into giannata. There is also, Kah
(arrow).
Truly, it does not matter if the second word is meaningful. It could be
something like: ANF, which is the acronym for a hormone responsible for
modulating the function of the emotional-cognitive system. (Citation on
request.)

May we expand our collective frame of reference on this matter of choosing a
second name?
Sincerely,
Marla Davis
