[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-2848) region ID parameter does not make sense for GSLB, portable IP services

Murali Reddy created CLOUDSTACK-2848:
----------------------------------------

Summary: region ID parameter does not make sense for GSLB, portable IP services
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-2848
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-2848
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Improvement
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
    Affects Versions: 4.2.0
            Reporter: Murali Reddy
            Assignee: Murali Reddy
             Fix For: 4.2.0

For the GSLB and portable IP features which are region level services, API are designed to take region ID as parameter in create and list API's.

passing region ID does not make sense because, for any management server its implicitly part of only one region and the DB is unique per region as well. So region id has no value, should be removed.
