[I] [Feature Request]: Implement a Constant variable resolver plugin (hop)
mattcasters opened a new issue, #5710:
URL: https://github.com/apache/hop/issues/5710
### What would you like to happen?
It could be useful to have a constant variable resolver plugin which would simply resolve to the specified constant. If you need to specify the value `12345` you could simply create a resolver called `const` which would then allow the expression `#{const:12345}` and the result would be the second argument at runtime.

Hi,
Since you’re already talking about new resolvers, wouldn’t it also be useful to implement a default resolver, where if the variable `${my-var}` is not set, I can use/set a default value?
For example:
- `${my-var}` not set → `#{default-resolver:${my-var}:123}` ⇒ 123
- `${my-var}` set to 0 → `#{default-resolver:${my-var}:123}` ⇒ 0
It would also be great if the default value could itself be a variable.
Something like: `#{default-resolver:${my-var}:${my-var-default}}`

This is just a sad excuse of a feature request. I was so on the wrong track that I forgot that if you can enter expression `#{const:12345}`... you might as well simply type `12345`.
But, indeed, a default resolver would be easy to create. Please do create the feature request!
