Classpath Attribute Lookup

Every web server has there own attribute, and I have
done the work to make it dynamic (based on a servlet
parameter), but I can't commit it yet because SSH
is down at apache.

Quick question:
When the attribute is empty, the classpath is null,
and the servlet crashes on startup.  What should the
default value be?  System.getProperty(????)?
