db-4.3.27 and svn 1.1.2 INSTALL
In subversion 1.1.2, the INSTALL file says:
You should try to use the latest version of BerkeleyDB 4.X. At
the time of writing, 4.2.52 is the latest version;
The latest version is now (as you know) 4.3.27. I wasted some time
trying to get svn to work with that, since it says "use the latest
version", before I discovered (from previous mailing list messages) that
db-4.3 was not yet supported.
It would be nice to update the INSTALL file for the next release, if
db-4.3 support still isn't there.
Regards,
karl
