[jira] [Created] (THRIFT-3166) TBufferBase can wrap the pointer in read, readAll, and write

James E. King, III created THRIFT-3166:
------------------------------------------

             Summary: TBufferBase can wrap the pointer in read, readAll, and write
                 Key: THRIFT-3166
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-3166
             Project: Thrift
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: C++ - Library
    Affects Versions: 0.9.2
            Reporter: James E. King, III
            Assignee: Ben Craig

During an external discussion around THRIFT-2006 it was mentioned that TBufferBase behaves badly on large reads whereby it may wrap the buffer pointer, leading to data corruption.
