c_predict_api.h not working with mxnet amalgamation
cyrusbehr opened a new issue #15597: c_predict_api.h not working with mxnet amalgamation
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/issues/15597
I am trying to run the [predict-cpp](https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/tree/master/example/image-classification/predict-cpp) example using [mxnet amalgamation](https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/tree/master/amalgamation).
I copied the code from the example into my own isolated project.
When I link and use `libmxnet.so` the example runs fine and performs as expected. However, when I switch to using `libmxnet_predict.so`, I get a segemntation fault error:
```
Process finished with exit code 139 (interrupted by signal 11: SIGSEGV)
```
This occurs on the call to ` MXPredSetInput(pred_hnd, "data", image_data.data(), static_cast<mx_uint>(image_size));
`
I am using the params and symbols files from the predict-cpp example (thought I don't think this is the issue since it works when `libmxnet.so` is linked.
