aegis interop testing strategy

What's our general strategy for testing interop and/or compliance,
particularly for Aegis?

Some confidence is to be had by making, say, simple+aegis talk to
jaxws+jaxb. This would seem to call for an mvn business to run java2ws for
Aegis, complete with customizing beans, to create jaxws+jaxb artifacts, and
then see what happens when they are forced to sit down together.

Can someone send any sort of cheat-sheet for that idea?
