[jira] [Commented] (FLEX-16765) Either add a Time Chooser to the DateField or create a separate component called TimeField

Jennifer Heninger commented on FLEX-16765:
------------------------------------------

Did I miss something? It looks like this was marked as resolved with a note that this is "not a bug." Of course not, the type is marked as "New Feature!" We have both desktop and mobile versions of our apps (as I'm sure most people do). Although the DateSpinner works for mobile apps, it's much too big and bulky for desktop apps. There are many applications where users need to be able to directly input a date/time. (For example, our app is a specimen tracker. Users need to enter times for collection, centrifugation, final storage, disbursement, transformation, etc. Unfortunately, I had to create a component, but would much rather use one that comes with the SDK.)
