> The NiFi Rest Api does not return sensitive values to the client. Instead it returns a masked value of '********'. The front end code performs partial updates and only sends properties that have been changed. The issue here is that if the user types in a value of '********' that value is viewed as unchanged and it is not included in the request to the server. Since sensitive values are never returned to the client, the front end needs to maintain some state to know when the property is modified and use this instead of relying on the previous value.
