[lucy-dev] Incubator PMC/Board report for September 2010 (lucy-dev@incubator.apache.org)

Dear Lucy Developers,

This email was sent by an automated system on behalf of the Apache Incubator PMC.
It is an initial reminder to give you plenty of time to prepare your quarterly
board report.

The board meeting is scheduled for . The report
for your podling will form a part of the Incubator PMC report. The Incubator PMC
requires your report to be submitted one week before the board meeting, to allow
sufficient time for review.

Please submit your report with sufficient time to allow the incubator PMC, and
subsequently board members to review and digest. Again, the very latest you
should submit your report is one week prior to the board meeting.

Thanks,

The Apache Incubator PMC

Submitting your Report
----------------------

Your report should contain the following:

 * Your project name
 * A brief description of your project, which assumes no knowledge of the project
   or necessarily of its field
 * A list of the three most important issues to address in the move towards
   graduation.
 * Any issues that the Incubator PMC or ASF Board might wish/need to be aware of
 * How has the community developed since the last report
 * How has the project developed since the last report.

This should be appended to the Incubator Wiki page at:

  http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/September2010

Note: This manually populated. You may need to wait a little before this page is
      created from a template.

Mentors
-------
Mentors should review reports for their project(s) and sign them off on the
Incubator wiki page. Signing off reports shows that you are following the
project - projects that are not signed may raise alarms for the Incubator PMC.

I went to fill in that report just now and found that you had updated it
moments before.

I deleted a duplicate line and added the following bullet point:

 * Legal issues regarding usage of Perl C API header files provisionally
   resolved (LEGAL-79).

I'm also about to commit some changes to the Lucy project status page and
update it.

Thanks for staying on top of things, Hoss.

et tu Upayavira ?!?!?!?

If you point me to the source (or some docs) on the script that runs that,
i'll see if i can figure out a patch.

In general: it would be great if every automated system that sent an email
was self documenting (ie: a sig with a URL that pointed to docs on the
system, and X-* MIME headers that included details on the specific version
that was being run, and on what host, and with what params)

I really wish I would go ahead and fix that. I wrote the script, and
haven't adapted it around more recent infrastructure changes. I'll see
if I can get it sorted.

Thanks, I'll go read it.

I really wish these Emails had dates in them ... the board meeting is
September 15th which means in order to have the Lucy reprt "one week
before" it is due "today"

I've added a quick stub for Lucy based on understanding of where things
