Using Mesos to run the BDAS alongside the Cloudera CDH stack
Hi all,
Does anyone have experience or know if Mesos is compatible with Cloudera's
CDH4 distribution?
I did see the patched CDH3 version on Git.
During the Mesos presentation at Amp Camp last week it was implied that
Mesos did not need a specific version of Hadoop, that it could be used to
test different versions at the same time. I am wondering if choosing to
run Mesos with a Cloudera stack will tie me to CDH3 version on Git?
Thank you,
- Matthew

Simple enough. Apparently I have been looking at old documentation. Thank
you!

Hi Matthew, the guide on https://github.com/mesos/hadoop references CDH
4.2.1, so yes it should work!
