Hi Asaf,
I opened a PR here to add back the 2.8.4 release notes:
https://github.com/apache/pulsar-site/pull/242
Thanks,
Yunze

Sure, there are also some other updates I would like to put to the
release-process doc after I finished release 2.10.2
I will include this.
Thanks,
Haiting

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Apache Pulsar 2.8.4 released
Posted by Yunze Xu <yz...@streamnative.io.INVALID>.
Hi, Haiting,
Thanks for your reminder. I’ve added the release here:
https://github.com/apache/pulsar/releases/tag/v2.8.4
Could you add an issue or PR to add this step to the release notes?
BTW, when I copied the release notes from the pulsar-site repo, I found the formats
are a little different. For example, see the release note in
https://github.com/apache/pulsar-site/tree/main/site2/website-next/release-notes/versioned
The format of each PR is:
<pr-title> [<pr-number>](pr-link)
However, in release notes, the format of each PR is:
<pr-title> [#<pr-number>](pr-link)
which has a sharp symbol (#).
Thanks,
Yunze<

Hi Yunze,
I noticed that 2.8.4 was not released on github.
https://github.com/apache/pulsar/releases
I don't know why this is not in the release-process doc, but I think
we should add this.
Thanks,
Haiting

The release note of 2.8.4 seems to be lost after a commit in pulsar-site repo:
https://github.com/apache/pulsar-site/pull/227
I will ping the author to fix the missed release note.
Thanks,
Yunze
