Another instance of Derby may have already booted the database

Hi,
 I was trying to take connection in network mode using derby ij tool then it 
give the following error message.
 ERROR XJ040: Failed to start database 
'E:\Derby\frameworks\NetworkServer\bin\server', see the next e
xception for details.
ERROR XSDB6: Another instance of Derby may have already booted the database 
E:\Derby\frameworks\Netw
orkServer\bin\server.
