Performance Problems-NEED HELP!

------- Additional Comments From minchau@ca.ibm.com 2003-08-13 21:37 -------
Hi Andreas,
we've looked at your sample in some detail and run it with various performance
tools.

I've seen that much of the time is in the "stack frames" releated to elements
in the stylesheets. I think some of my ideas of turning part of the stylesheet
elements into "constants" to avoid these "stack framse" is not fully thought
out, but Morris Kwan has given you some other suggestions.

In addition Performance with the latest code in CVS should be better than the
2.4 version that your originally, you noted that performance improved but we
have no performance numbers from you on before or after.

If you run your transformation with another XSLT processor and it runs much
faster than the current XSLTC it will get our attention that there may be a
problem to investigate further, otherwise I'd like to resolve this one
as "WONTFIX".

Regards,
Brian Minchau
