browsing svn repository through web
Since subversion uses the http protocol to transfer checkouts and
commits, it was no suprise to me that there was a built-in web view
for the repository (we get it for free and that is really nice, no
having to setup bloated Chora to cruise through the repository).
However, I was wondering if there are other views besides the basic
list of files. My biggest interest is being able to view log files
for the commits through the web browser. Is there any support for
this functionality at this time?...or do we only have what we get for
free (a generalized view of the file structure in the repository)?
Thanks,
Dan

That will work! Thanks ;)

The cvs version of ViewCVS (http://viewcvs.sf.net/) has Subversion support
built into it. We have yet to release an official version (sigh) with that
support, but it's there.
The native/default web code will *not* provide extensive facilities for that
kind of stuff, though. There is just way too many features, and those are
way beyond what a version control system is truly built for. Our intent is
to defer to external tools for those extended features.
