[jira] Commented: (IVY-872) Improve performance of a resolve
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IVY-872?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12619832#action_12619832 ]
Gilles Scokart commented on IVY-872:
------------------------------------
When runing the build in a profiler, I notice that 2% of the time is used to compute checksums for the publication.
When working with a local repository, those checksums are probably useless. Configuring the resolver to not use checksum can slighly enhance performance.

> On heavy multi-module build with important number of dependencies the part of ivy might be very important.
> On my benchmarked project, ivy take 50% of the time.
> I will attach to this issue some performance enhancements.
