   This issue is stuck. It has a related PR with a patch for the issue, but it is not merged and looks stuck too(https://github.com/apache/cassandra-gocql-driver/issues/1291).
   It would be nice to compare it now, to understand does is it still relevant.
   We should also push forward the mentioned PR or close it as not relevant, but not left hanging.
