[I] Sequential logic: vol2 port [incubator-kie-drools]
mdproctor opened a new issue, #6681:
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-kie-drools/issues/6681
Port the sequential logic subsystem into droolsvol2 once the vol1 implementation matures.
## Context
Sequential logic is a state-machine-based subsystem for matching ordered sequences of events over streams. Logic gates become satisfied as matching data arrives; bitmasks route data efficiently to the active gates. The feel is similar to regex matching but over rule-based event streams.
The primary implementation is being built in vol1/Phreak — see #6182. This issue tracks the vol2 port once that work is stable enough to adapt.
## What the vol2 port needs
- Integrate the state machine with the vol2 DataSource / Router propagation model (events arrive via DataStore subscriptions, not WorkingMemory inserts)
- Adapt bitmask routing to vol2's slot-indexed Router architecture
- Wire sequence lifecycle into UnitInstance (start/reset/complete signals)
- Define the vol2 DSL surface for declaring sequences (parallel to the vol1 DSL approach)
## Depends on
- #6182 — Sequential logic design and vol1 implementation (must reach sufficient maturity first)
- #6680 — Evaluation engine core infrastructure
Parent epic: #6639
