   Did you set USE_BLAS to mkl? USE_BLAS=mkl would introduce this linker flag in mshadow [here](https://github.com/dmlc/mshadow/blob/cb5c9872b542220be5b99f3aca0e1ff56e31b028/make/mshadow.mk#L63). On mac, you can set USE_BLAS=apple instead as a workaround.
