[DRAFT] Announce mod_python 3.0.4 and 2.7.9
I've been kinda swamped trying to catch up with live after Apachecon (I
thought I was hung over, but it turns out I a had a flu), and completely
forgot that we have a bug fix for the empty query-string crash.
Here is a draft announcement, read it, see if there are problems:
------
The Apache Software Foundation and The Apache HTTP Server Project are
pleased to announce the 3.0.4 and 2.7.9 version releases of mod_python.
These two releases (for Apache 2.0 and 1.3 respecitvely) address an issue
whereby on certain operating systems an empty query string processed by
mod_python could case the server to crash.
These two releases have also been patched to compile against Python 2.3
cleanly.
Both of these releases are considered stable.
Mod_python is available for download from:
http://httpd.apache.org/modules/python-download.cgi

It would read better as:
pleased to announce the release of versions 3.0.4 and 2.7.9 of mod_python.
