[jira] [Commented] (KNOX-407) Knox does not need Hive's doAs to be false

Larry McCay commented on KNOX-407:

Hmmmm, this patch raises an interesting question for doc contributions.
In order for your change to take affect we need to run 'ant' after changing the markdown files and this generates the html that ends up in the user's guide. So, if you were to have done that the patch would have also included the changes to the html.

We can apply the patch and build it and commit it but it is an interesting process question.
I guess to be safe committers should always build the site after applying the patch.

For future patches, try setting prefix to 0 or no-prefix to eliminate the extra info in there. I will try and apply it but have had some trouble with those recently.

> Currently Knox doc (http://knox.apache.org/books/knox-0-4-0/knox-0-4-0.html#Hive ) mentions to set hive.server2.enable.doAs to false.
> I have tested Knox 0.4.0 against Hive 13 in HDP 2.1 and it works with both true | false for the said property.
