[users@httpd] Apache stop answer request

Hello,

Sorry to disturb you with that but i've got a strange problem with
apache (Server Version: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/1.3.23 (Mandrake
Linux/4.2mdk) mod_ssl/2.8.7 OpenSSL/0.9.6c PHP/4.1.2
Server Built: Oct 9 2002 16:05:16)

I didn't found any clues. Some help are welcome :)

Sometimes apache stop answering request (apachectl extendedstatus
include). When i do netstat -ap i see TCP connections on port 80 in
ESTABLISHED state but without any httpd process associated. But apache
still running (ps -ax | grep httpd). The only way to solve this problem
is to restart apache. No error at all appears in logs (acces, error,
syslog, messages, kernel). The apache log level is "debug".

	tcp_syncookies is activated and fs.file-max = 16384 (no more than 8000
file descriptors are usually used). Disk-space & RAM are not full.

	Thanks for your help !

						Greets, Yannick.
