> because evictedPagesCounter is already null. `clearCounters()` is invoked in _markCheckpointEnd()_. But it is possible that the counter is being updated. Probably, happens with the _DelayedDirtyPageStoreWrite_ / _DelayedDirtyPageStoreWrite_
