There is a big requirement to have the following tasks:
- if
- while/for
- case
Without these, it becomes ugly to set properties and create new tasks. These are
all ugly workarounds. It is understandable that ant is not a scripting language
but it does not appear to be any worthwhile language if it cannot support
control statements.

one of the workarounds is to use ant-contrib.
