[jira] Commented: (HDFS-1715) HDFS Federation: warning/error not
generated when datanode sees inconsistent/different Cluster ID between
namenodes
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-1715?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13002187#comment-13002187 ]
Boris Shkolnik commented on HDFS-1715:
--------------------------------------
when a namenode with wrong cluster id tries to connect to a Datanode we should reject the connection and shutdown the thread. But datanode will keep running.
Also we need to make sure that setting of cluster id is properly synchronized because it is accessed from different threads (probably at the same time).
