[m1] m1 equivalent of mvn install:install-file?
Hi,
What is the equivalent in m1 of m2's "mvn install:install-file"?
Or is it "manually rename jars"?

AFAIK, the repositor plugin could only be used to work with a remote
repo (maven.repo.central then), m2's install-file will put the file into
your local repo. I still don't think m1 has anything like that...

What about the old repository plugin?
http://maven.apache.org/maven-1.x/plugins/repository/
Back in the day I used the create-project and copy-jar goals to place
3rd party jars in remote repos.
