change substitution for keyword LastChangedDate?

Can I get change the somewhat "verbose" substitution for the keyword
"LastChangedDate" alias "Date" to something less verbose, e.g.:

$Date: 2004/03/27 17:51:37 +0100 $

instead of

$LastChangedDate: 2004-03-27 17:51:37 +0100 (Sat, 27 Mar 2004) $

Well, you can use "$Date$" instead of "$LastChangedDate$". The rest
of the string isn't currently customizeable, though, sorry.
