Christopher Tubbs commented on ACCUMULO-3322:
---------------------------------------------
Would it be sufficient to suppress the message if the free memory is greater than the free memory from the previous run?

> Project: Accumulo
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: tserver
> Affects Versions: 1.6.0, 1.6.1

> The gc debug log messages in the tserver are printed if:
> * the gc time has changed
> * the free memory has grown
> As a consequence, the gc lines are printed more frequently when there is more memory available, which seems kind of odd.
