The current framework provides functionality for validating, error reporting, etc. on config objects (e.g. connector, driver), but doesn't seem to support the same functionality for other attributes. As a simple example, the job name attribute (SQOOP-2031). The code should be re-factored to extend this functionality for other required attributes.
