[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-7402) PutCassandraRecord Processor doesn't allow to dump case sensitive columns data to dump into Cassandra DB

Mike Thomsen commented on NIFI-7402:
------------------------------------

I'll investigate the case-sensitivity issue, but the special characters issue is blocked by Apache Avro's limits. No work around for that one.

> We need to dump the CSV file data to Cassandra DB - the file contains mixed case column names with special characters (eg:- *Actual_Values,* *[Serial.NO|https://slack-redir.net/link?url=http%3A%2F%2FSerial.NO]**, quantity*).
> A Cassandra table with these 3 columns were created as such but while dumping data from NIFI through *PutCassandraRecord* processor its throwing error as *InvalidQueryException: undefined column actual_values.*
> Observed NIFI by default converts the column names to lowercase and its not accepting column names defined with special characters other than underscore (column_names mapping between NIFI and DB fails).
> Please help to fix this issue.
