Adding a "replication" component to jira

Would it be ok to add a "Replication" component to Jira? I find 
"Services" to be a too broad category when I'm adding Jira issues.

I was thinking this would be a good idea when I saw someone assign an
issue concerning replication to 'miscellaneous'. I've gone ahead and
added a replication component.
