Jira emails being cc'd to the dev list?

Hi,

Is it some sort of apache thing that all jira comments and emails go to the
dev list?

Sees strange. I've not seen that anywhere else? Normally whether its jira
or github you can choose whether or not to receive those emails?

Dan

+1 for another list.

Drill just put in place a similar thing (see https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7742) and it improved things. I have logged https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7981.

Hi,
The ASF wants that all JIRA notifications go to a mailing list. Optiq has
currently only the dev@ list.
It is possible to request an issues@optiq.incubator.a.o. list that receives
all JIRA updates. (It is recommended to send all notifications about newly
created JIRAs to dev@)
