The issue is about both Hudson and Nexus.  We have not, AFAIK, set up the Hudson build to publish to Nexus.  Next step, add a subtask to the Nexus JIRA referenced above, and then change the poms to point there.

This issue should remain open until we're successfully publishing SNAPSHOTs, staging releases, and executing releases on Nexus.
