On namespaceerr09, I am now seeing:

; Line#: 16; Column#: 33
javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: A location path was expected, but the 
following token was encountered:  :foo

However, the error is not being caught in namedtemplateerr15.  This with XalanJ 
2.4.0
