Problem with changes in mailing list

Sometime in the last week or so, it appears that the method
for sending messages from the Cocoon mailing list has changed.

In the past, the "Created By" property would show up as
users@cocoon.apache.org
even though the "From" property would reflect the email of the
person sending the message. Now both 'from' and 'Created By'
are the same i.e. the email of the person sending the message.
This is causing a major headache, as I (and many others, I am
sure) am using a spam filter i.e. only "known" senders get
through to the mail box. The change in the sending method
is causing all mailing list messages to end up in the 'spam' box.

Is there a reason why the old method has been changed?

Is it possible to revert to the "old" way of doing things?

Thanks!
Derek

I used to use the "list-post" header for Apache mailing lists:
List-Post: <ma...@cocoon.apache.org>

I'm not sure if anyone here will be able to help, you might want to
ask on infrastructure@apache.org, or create an issue at
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA (unless there's one about
this there already, I didn't check).

Sorry, forgot about that - but in that case the archives are not
available as well.

The best thing for you might be to create an issue at
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA , with a good issue title
you should be able to get someone's attention there.

I think anyone can create issues there, if not reply here and we'll
see what we can do.

I have sent a message to infrastructure@apache.org ,
but the Apache site says this list is only available
to committers - where can I read the archives/transactions
to see if anyone has posted a reply? The list of
mailing list archives:
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/
does not show it...

Thanks
