Handlers, GUI's and problems... (Java, Axis)

Hi all,

If have a system with handlers on both the server and client side. Now
I was wondering is it possible to call a GUI on the client side when a
certain server side handler is called? What way would I go about it?

Anybody done this before or know if it is possible?
Now, I don't need code, just the workings? and if its possible? Thanks
