TC manager

Since Slide has his own realm, is the file tomcat-users.xml in Slide/server/conf still useful ?
Because, when I get the page localhost:8080 and click on TC Manager, if I log with root:root, I get a : "Apache Tomcat/4.0.1 - HTTP Status 403 - Access to the requested resource has been denied"...
