patches, diff and what?
According to the jakarta source page
(http://jakarta.apache.org/site/source.html), patches are made using:
cvs diff -u Main.java >> patchfile.txt
Does anyone know if these patch files can then be "applied" to a working
directory to apply the changes? What's the command? And if it ends up
being some Unix thing, does anyone know of a windows version?
Thanks.

Glenn,
You will need to get a patch utility. I use one from http://www.cygwin.com.
