[jira] [Created] (TRAFODION-634) LP Bug: 1370733 - Error message
1333 does not report correct username
Alice Chen created TRAFODION-634:
------------------------------------
Summary: LP Bug: 1370733 - Error message 1333 does not report correct username
Key: TRAFODION-634
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRAFODION-634
Project: Apache Trafodion
Issue Type: Bug
Components: sql-security
Reporter: Roberta Marton
Assignee: Roberta Marton
Fix For: 1.1 (pre-incubation)
The function CatUser::getEffectiveUserName returns error 1333 if a username associated with the userID was not found. For example: User <username> does not exist. This is the incorrect message.
Should report the error:
ERROR: 20235 Error returned while converting user ID to username, status: <error returned> userid: <userID>
There are a couple of places in this code that have the same issue. Also change misspelled words in the header of this method.
